Fr. Evaristus Mushi, while he was in service to the parish at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Crystal River, Florida, U.S. of A., approached me to put this web page together for the Diocese of Zanzibar.  I agreed, and after working on it, I feel that I have a close compassion with those of you in Zanzibar and your ambitions regarding the church there. I have also developed a lasting friendship with him and since his return to Zanzibar a great working relationship with Fr. Exupery Lyimo Kilemi of Zanzibar.  I have also had the pleasure of meeting your Bishop Shao, and Auxilary Bishop Method Kilaini in Dar es Salam while developing these web pages. I hope that you appreciate our efforts on your behalf.  We have enjoyed it immensely.
